ABOUT

Salim discovers he is part of a magical line of dragons who have disguised themselves to live among humans. Dragons keep their human form as long as they are doing acts of service for others, but if someone does an act of service for them, they will immediately revert to dragon form. Naturally, he'd never had cause to confront this reality before, having spent his entire adult life working as a manservant. Instead, he finds this out the embarrassing way-- the first time René kisses him with altruistic intentions-- not the first time René kisses him, of course.

Luckily for Salim, the magic works both ways, so it's easy enough to regain his human form, but much harder to regain his dignity (though René would insist he had little in the way of dignity in the first place.)
